DETERMINE YOUR FIT PRIOR TO PURCHASING:
    1) OUR MEASUREMENTS: In sewing, 'ease' is the amount of room a garment allows the wearer beyond the measurements of their actual body. I provide measurements of my items (un-stretched) for you, however, it is suggested to add ease for comfort. Fitting ease will allow you to be able to breathe, move your arms, bend your elbows, sit, walk, and even dance! Ease varies depending on what part of the body you are clothing, but generally it is between ½”-2”. If you want your garment to be a ‘pin-up’ tight fit, make sure it’s close to your own body measurements, adding 1 or 2 inches in the bust and hip areas. If you want it to fit loosely, add more room as needed.
    2) YOUR MEASUREMENTS: We always suggest you use the measurements of your own body to help with the accuracy of how the garment will fit. If you don’t have a measuring tape, use a ruler to measure a similar garment that fits you well. Follow our measuring guide pictures to compare our sizing with your measurements.
    ABOUT VINTAGE:
Please understand that vintage clothing and vintage fabric have age to it, and even when in excellent condition, they show wear. They are not new items. Even the most cared for vintage items of clothing is likely to have some wear and tear and vintage pieces can commonly have tiny spots/marks, fading/yellowing, or pin holes. I attempt to present all damage by describing and photographing it but sometimes little things get by me. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me right away after receiving your purchase to arrange for a return. Items are sourced from local estate auctions, and business liquidations. Items will have some wear as to be expected with used goods. Please read the description and look at pictures carefully as all items will be as described. Measurements are taken to the best of our ability, but there may be a 5-10% variation. Please remember that colors photograph and can display differently depending on the camera and/or the computer.
