    Description

    Antique/Vintage  Pearl Like Bead Edged Wedding Dress Train.
    In examining this item it appears that it may have been a wedding dress train.  The extra piece with pearl like beading appears to be the waist that was cut from the body of the skirt.  It appears to be a double layer (one short and one long with fish tail edge) and the hook and eye closed the train in the back of the dress over the wedding dress.  The fabric has small holes here and there and staining throughout.  The pearl like beads are coming loose and some are missing.  It was part of an estate with antique lace pieces.  The pearl like beads could be salvaged or the waist piece could be reattached and restored. We do not the content or origins of the pearl like beads that are used.  The beads seem to be hollow so do not think they are real pearls. It is sold as is with no returns.
