Vintage 30s Art Deco Pale Pink Satin Gown by FOGA Fashion Originators Guild XS

Description

This dress has a Fashion Originators Guild tag. The material is a beautiful liquid silk(?) satin and it has fabric covered buttons up the back and at the wrists. It has decorative metal clips at the neckline and a large long sash. The sleeves are leg of mutton style and come to a point at the wrist 💗💗💗. Oh, and also that incredible train at the back. This gown is absolutely devastating and so meticulously designed; you’ll never see another one like it.
It is in great condition for its age. The material is sturdy and totally wearable. There is one broken loop at the right wrist. There are watermarks and areas of faint discoloration throughout, a mark at the center, and some spots that aren’t shiny on the bodice. There are more spots near the hem. The seam under the buttons at the back has a small popped seam. Please examine the photos carefully. I have not attempted to clean this garment and have priced it accordingly.
It measures 13 inches across the shoulders, 34 inches at the chest, 28 inches at the waist (can be cinched in with the sash at the waist), 40 inches at the hip, 60 inches from the shoulder to the front hem, 40 inches from the bottom of the waistline to the hem, and the sleeve measures 17 inches at the inseam and 6.5 inches at the wrist.
